Getting tattooed in Ho Chi Minh City: good to know
- Ho Chi Minh City is hot all year. The rainy season runs from May to November, usually as heavy afternoon showers that pass quickly.
- Heat and sweat won’t ruin a tattoo, but keep it clean: rinse gently, pat dry, a thin layer of cream, loose clothes and air-conditioned rest when you can.
- A Mekong Delta boat trip is fine; just keep the tattoo dry and out of the sun.

Aftercare
Rinse gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, pat dry and apply a thin layer of cream. No sea, no pools and no direct sun until it heals, usually 2–4 weeks.
